Facebook Photo Tagged Searches

Here are a list of applications and services that provide photo tagging searches on Facebook. While these apps and services help in finding pictures you may be searching for, they are not considered foolproof in finding what you are searching. However, if researching images available online about yourself or someone else, it should prove to be extremely useful to try some of these images search tools. Some of these applications require download and installation while others may be built-in apps with Facebook or stand-alone websites to use.

Cooliris (Firefox Plug-in)

This is a Firefox Web Browser Plugin/Addon. This is a nice little plugin for your browser that allows you to browse friends on Facebook and other a bunch of other sites. This isn’t a great search tool but something to use for browsing images you may be looking for.

Digital Inspiration (Website)

This is a stand-alone website that searches Facebook, Flickr, MySpace and many more. This is also an app you can load in Facebook itself.

Face.com (Website)

Face.com has a basic picture finder interface that you can use to search your friends' and family photos. There's also a neat application called Photo Tagger that uses facial recognition software to tag your photos for you.

GazoPa (Website)

This is a “Similar Image Search Engine” designed by Hitachi but has since been shutdown in 2011.
