WHO I AM & WHAT I DO
My name is Travis Morgan and I am legally blind and hearing impaired from an incurable disease called Usher Syndrome (Retinitis Pigmentosa combined with deafness), I have 2 children ages 6 and 8 that I than for not having the disease I have. I live in Temecula and spent 20 years of my life in marketing and Information Technology. I am also a childhood survivor of sexual abuse. I have a huge heart (I just put up a homeless vet with no money in hand) and I am giving away my book for anyone who has an at-risk child in their lives and cannot afford my book.

MY BOOK
My book has had outstanding reviews from celebrities and other influential people. In a nutshell, the book takes a non-technical person and show them how they can find out what someone is doing on a computer, whether it be a Mac or Windows PC. WHO & WHAT I NEED
I am looking for investors and volunteers to help fund and implement the advertisments and distribution from this awesome book.I am also seeking volunteers in Southern California who are eager to learn new marketing methods, SEO, advertising and website design (if you are interested). You must be willing to chat via Google Talk for communicating since I cannot hear on the phone but can in person. Your phone skills should be good since you will be communicating with my publicist and places to place my book in. You should also have excellent written English skills (to vs too, ad vs add, weather vs whether etc.) with proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. You should have your own car, insurance and current and valid driver’s license. I will pay gas when there is a need to visit some SoCal locations like charities, medical buildings, daycares, libraries, coffee shops, police stations, etc.

WHAT I AM OFFERING TO INVESTORS
I am willing to pay as much as 20% for ROI of this book. Additionally, I am willing to sign the rights of my book as collateral but the book rights are currently not for sale. If you have additional stipulations or an alternate offer, I will be happy to entertain those ideas. 

WHAT I AM OFFERING LOCAL VOLUNTEERS
We have a family owned business (Temecula Valley Computers http://www.temeculavalleycomputers.com) and I can arrange to take care of any PC problems you have at no labor cost. Any new parts needed will be sold at cost or if we have a used part here, there won’t be any cost for your computer to be fixed). We also have used computers that I am willing to give you if it will help your household.

You will also learn some very valuable marketing skills including how to get on the first page of Google without paying for it. We will be doing marketing, ad copy, search engine optimization, Internet advertising and website design/management. You can learn as little or as much as you like but I will need to know what you want to learn up front so we can concentrate on your desired skill sets.

Book sales are finally taking off and I will be giving a cash bonus for efforts you put forth. These bonuses will be paid when we receive book orders and compensation and the bonus amounts will vary depending on the number of books sold online. And yes, you will get a free autographed copy if we work together. :)

You will have a possible opportunity to accompany me on news interviews, award presentations, radio and televised talk shows, trade shows, presentations and speaking events, meetings and so on, if you want. I am scheduled for a book signing event September 22 at the largest Christian bookstore chain in the US (over 70 locations). Currently Wynonna Judd and her husband Cactus (so glad he is OK after the ND bike accident this weekend). has my book to be read and previously Denise Brown (OJ Simpsons ex-sister-in-law, sister of Nicole Brown-Simpson) gave raving views. Rosie O’Donnell’s rep said she was also interested in reading it but could not devote the time because of some projects in her life. I was asked to get back a little later. Lastly, Oprah and some of her executives at Harpo Productions has received a copy of my book but no word back yet. I have another wave of celebrities’ reps to get in touch with and letters needing to be written for them.

WHAT THIS OFFER IS NOT (FOR VOLUNTEERS)
This is not a sales job but it is considered sales efforts because marketing is all about selling your product or service. However, you will not being performing a sales call, but more of asking places if there’s an opportunity for us to promote it or additional info we may need like scheduling events, etc. This is also not an unpaid volunteer opportunity. I want everyone around me to be as successful as myself and rewarded for our efforts as a team.

WHY I AM ASKING FOR INVESTORS & VOLUNTEERS
Aside from the obvious disabilities (hearing and sight), my disease is progressive and will render me completely blind in the next year or two. I don’t have much time left to try and secure my children future and childhood home which is under threat of foreclosure. I am also looking at volunteers because I am now living on poverty level income and cannot afford to pay the full time salary that I would like to be able to afford. Lastly, volunteers are more often than not, sincere and caring people and that is who I want around myself. I also volunteer for TAALK .org, a non-profit in the Los Angeles area and they could use all the help they can get also, which I support 100% because they help stop child sexual abuse which is related to my book of protecting our families and children from online dangers.
